Eight-figure HSBC loan funds Welsh mental health hospital
A new mental health hospital will open in Rhyl this month with the support of an eight-figure funding package from HSBC UK.
Buyer Ty Melyn, which already operates four other sites in Wales, will transform the purchased site into Seren Gobaith Mental Health Hospital.
The hospital will provide 24-hour support and operate 62 beds across five wards with ensuite facilities in every room.
It will hire 250 hospital workers and medical professionals and be the largest hospital of its kind in Wales.
