HCA UK has launched a £1.8m expansion of the Portland Hospital outpatient centre in Hale, Greater Manchester.

Portland is the UK’s only private hospital dedicated solely to women and children.

The expansion of the outpatient centre will offer tailored, expert-led care for services including antenatal and postnatal support, gynaecology, and fertility consultations, menopause specialists and physiotherapy and private GP services.

The hospital has three consulting rooms, four ultrasound suites, and can send patients to onward care at the Portland Hospital in London, HCA’s hospital in Wilmslow, and Christie Private Care in Manchester.

The group hopes the new centre will offer greater choice and convenience to women across Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
