New start for Gloucester care home as it joins growing group

Brockworth Care Centre in Gloucester, a specialist dementia nursing home registered for up to 52 residents, has been sold to Ashberry Care Homes, which now owns nine homes across England and South Wales.
Brockworth Care Centre occupies a large, purpose-built property on four acres of land in a large village that forms part of the urban fringe adjacent to Gloucester city centre.
The home was built and operated by MHA.
Following a confidential sales process with Oliver McCarthy at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by Ashberry Care Homes.
Nigel Denny, chief executive at Ashberry Care Homes, said: “This marks an exciting new chapter as we continue to grow our family of care homes and provide exceptional, person-centred care across the UK.”
