Jasmine Lodge is included in the acquisition

Optimo Care Group has acquired Spectra Care, taking on a portfolio of supported living units across Ilford and Chingford.

Based in Essex, Spectra Care is a supported living provider established in 2019 by Suzie Qureshi and delivering essential services to a number of younger adults with learning disabilities and autism.

It operates a portfolio of supported living units across Ilford and Chingford, including Jasmine Lodge, Orchid Manor, Primrose Place, Bluebell House, and Sage House – all of which form part of the acquisition.

Optimo Care Group will be retaining all current Spectra Care staff members, ensuring continuity of care and stability for the service users.

The company also plans to further expand the team to accommodate the anticipated growth in services.

Optimo currently supports thousands of people across the UK with a variety of complex and specialist support needs.

Split across three core divisions, supported living for younger adults with learning disabilities and autism, specialist care for younger adults with specialist support needs, and elderly homecare.

With this acquisition, Optimo Care Group strengthens its position as one of the leading care providers in the UK.

Optimo is now aiming to double its revenues over the next two years.

The sale was facilitated by DC Care and Optimo was advised by Freeths LLP (legal), Hazlewoods LLP (financial and tax), and Knight Frank LLP (property).

Spectra Care was advised by Setfords LLP (legal) and Azets (tax).
