Sej Pharmaceutical buys Twickenham pharmacy

  • 6th May 2025

Whitton Corner Pharmacy in Twickenham has been sold to Sej Pharmaceutical, which already owns pharmacies in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

Established in 2014, Whitton Corner is a community pharmacy which dispenses an average of circa 6,457 items per month.

It is located inside a busy community centre which is next door to a purpose-built health centre on an intersection on the main A316 Chertsey Road.

The pharmacy was opened as a new contract by Scotland-based partnership, Wellbeing Rushport, and was brought to market as running the pharmacy remotely had become too challenging.

Following a competitive sales process with Mark Page at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by experienced local operators at Sej Pharmaceutical.

As the current lease had expired, the pharmacy was sold with no security of tenure.

Page said: “Selling a pharmacy with no security of tenure was a first for me.

“We received so much response from our campaign that it was clear the market was prepared to move forward anyway.

“Interest came from experienced local operators and first-time buyers alike.”

Whitton Corner Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
