MPC appoints Ben Gilbey as director to lead expansion into new markets
MPC has announced the appointment of Ben Gilbey as director, marking a significant milestone in the company’s evolution.
Gilbey brings a wealth of expertise in operational real estate, having spent the past nine years, most recently as a partner, in the operational real estate team at Gerald Eve, now Newmark.
His appointment strengthens MPC’s position as a leader in the healthcare, education, early years, and alternative real estate sectors.
With a strong track record in disposals and acquisitions across various sectors, including education, healthcare, student accommodation, nurseries, religious orders, and institutional properties, Gilbey has also provided extensive advisory services, including valuation, lease consultancy, and Designated Adviser’s (Charities Act) Reports.
He said: “I am thrilled to be joining MPC at such a pivotal moment.
“The company has built an exceptional reputation in the healthcare sector, and I look forward to playing a key role in its expansion into education, early years, and alternative real estate markets.
“By leveraging my experience, I aim to drive growth and deliver innovative solutions that support our clients’ needs in an ever-changing landscape.”
His appointment comes as MPC celebrates its 10th anniversary with a rebrand, evolving from Medical Premises Consultant to MPC.
This refined identity reflects the company’s expansion while maintaining its roots in healthcare and operational real estate consultancy.
“Our transition to MPC is a natural progression, allowing us to stay true to our heritage while embracing new opportunities in growing markets,” said Rob Hearle, director.
“Ben’s appointment reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional advisory services and enhancing our reach across multiple real estate sectors.”
