Siobhan Harper joins CHP as regional director for London
Community Health Partnerships (CHP) has announced the appointment of Siobhan Harper as the new regional director for London.
This senior appointment reinforces CHP’s mission to strengthen community health infrastructure, enhancing integrated care across the capital and unlocking infrastructure solutions across the LIFT estate.
Harper brings over 30 years of experience in NHS and local authority organisations, primarily within north central and north east London.
Her career began in mental healthcare, strategic planning, and commissioning, where she developed a strong commitment to reducing health inequalities.
She then progressed into broader strategy and commissioning roles, leading strategic planning and working with primary care clinicians.
And she played a key role in developing integrated pathways of care and community provision in the City and Hackney, fostering local neighbourhood approaches to health and care.
Her experience in making integration work led her to senior leadership roles across Tower Hamlets, Newham, and Waltham Forest, and she worked closely with acute, mental health, and community care provider collaboratives during the establishment of the North East London Integrated Care System (ICS).
Wendy Farrington-Chadd, chief executive of CHP, said: “Siobhan’s experience in strategic commissioning, wide ranging understanding of integrated care, and her desire to reduce health inequalities, will be vital, as we continue to support the NHS in delivering high-quality, community-based healthcare across London.
“Her proven ability to foster collaboration and drive positive change aligns with CHP’s mission to enable the delivery of care in local neighbourhoods.
“And her deep understanding of system working, her skills in relationship building, and team approaches will be invaluable in her new role.
“She remains passionate about reducing health inequalities and recognises the key role of the LIFT estate in delivering quality health care provision to local communities.”
