Barchester’s new care home opens in Woking

Lotus Manor, Barchester Healthcare’s new luxury care home in Woking, has opened its doors with a ceremony performed by the Deputy Mayor of Guildford, Councillor Jane Tyson.

Barchester’s chief executive, Dr Pete Calveley; and general manager, Candy Guo, hosted the event and invited guests to view the new 64-bed care home, along with its landscaped gardens.

The home has been designed with residents’ comfort in mind and the team at Lotus Manor will offer residential support, respite stays, and specialised dementia care.

Guo said: “We are delighted our home is now open.

“Our residents are at the heart of everything we do at Lotus Manor, and we look forward to welcoming them and their families, and becoming an active part of the local community.”

Calveley, added: “Lotus Manor is going to be a wonderful home, offering personalised care for the people of Woking and the surrounding area in this lovely setting.

“We’re thrilled to add Lotus Manor to our Barchester family of quality care homes and hospitals.”
