Park Lane House Care Home in Dudley, West Midlands, has been sold to Pegasus Care Homes for an undisclosed price.

The established care home is registered for up to 30 residents who require dementia care and occupies a large, extended Georgian-style property in the residential suburb of Woodsetton in Dudley.

The home has been owned by the husband-and-wife duo, Mike and Bernadette Ramdoo, since 1988 and was brought to market to allow them to retire.

Following a confidential sales process with Paul Reilly at Christie & Co, it has been sold to Mark Busra of Pegasus Care Homes, which provides specialist care and supported living for young adults and residential care for the elderly.

Reilly said: “This was a challenging transaction at times, but resulted in a very-positive outcome for all parties.

“We conducted over 20 viewings and had multiple offers, which shows the continuing demand for care homes not only in the West Midlands, but UK-wide.”
