Christie & Co has overseen the sale of the former nursing home, Riverview Lodge, in Newport-on-Tay, to a hospitality group.

The grand, late-Victorian property comprises 18 bedrooms, a lounge, and staff facilities and is located in the affluent Scottish town of Newport-on-Tay, in the north east of Fife and a few miles from Dundee.

Surrounded by predominantly residential properties, it sits below road level on the eastern outskirts of the town and occupies a large site that stretches down to the southern shore of the River Tay.

Following a sales process with Andrew Fyfe at Christie & Co, the property has been purchased by Michael Lawson of Lawson Hospitality Group.

Riverview Lodge was sold for an undisclosed price.
