A former health centre in the heart of Shillelagh, south west Wicklow, Ireland, has come onto the market.

The former Shillelagh Health Centre is situated on a 0.21-acre site opposite the Millback development and is on the market for €150,000.

The building, which is in need of extensive renovation, features a main hall, five rooms, two toilets, and a kitchen, and is being marketed by property agent, DNG McCormack.

The agent said that, subject to planning permission, the site has ‘great development potential or a small renovation project of the existing building for local builders/interested parties’.

The Shillelagh property is the second former Wicklow healthcare centre to hit the market in the last fortnight, following a former healthcare centre with a private car park and gardens in the centre of Knockananna, west Wicklow, which is being offered for sale by private treaty.

Similarly, the Knockananna property comprises a lobby, waiting room, two consultancy rooms, two toilets (one wheelchair accessible), and a kitchenette, and offers plenty of space for future development, with a substantial private car park and gardens.
