Glasgow pharmacy sold for the first time in 17 years
Property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Dunnet Pharmacy in Glasgow.
A busy community pharmacy in Glasgow’s West End, the business dispenses an average of 7,800 items per month and offers a successful Pharmacy First ‘Plus’ Service along with other important services including a needle exchange and drug misuse dispensing.
The pharmacy has been owned by Brian and Maryann Dunnet since 2007 and was brought to market to allow them to retire.
Following a confidential sales process with Karl Clezy at Christie & Co, it has been sold to local pharmacy group operator, Houlihan Pharmacy Group, which owns nine other branches including one closeby in Partick.
Clezy said: “This is a well-run pharmacy business providing excellent patient care including a busy Pharmacy First ‘Plus’ Service where patients can go straight to the pharmacy instead of a GP for common clinical conditions.
“Brian and Maryann worked hard over the years building a successful business and we wish new owners at Houlihan Pharmacy Group all the success with this new addition to their estate.”
Dunnet Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
