Moorhill, Hartford Care’s new care home in Moorhill Road, Southampton officially opened its doors to residents this week.

To celebrate the launch of the new home, Hartford Care is hosting an open day on 31 July with live entertainment, a bouncy castle, and facepainting for children as well as food and drinks and the opportunity to meet the team and tour the new facility.

The state-of-the-art new care home will offer expert-led residential, dementia, day care, end-of-life care and respite breaks across its 70 ensuite bedrooms.

The neutral, modern bedroom interiors will be a perfect canvas to be personalised as residents wish, with family photographs or paintings.

The home will also include a café, hair and beauty salon, several spacious residents’ lounges and dining rooms with lifestyle kitchens, along with large landscaped gardens for residents and their families to enjoy.

Set against the beautiful, scenic backdrop of Telegraph Woods, Moorhill will have industry-leading sustainability credentials, with significant renewable energy elements including solar panels, heat pumps, and battery storage systems.
