Interest in the private dental property market continues to grow, with the announcement of the sale of The KClinic in Knutsford, Cheshire.

The KClinic is a high-end private dental practice occupying a stunning modern property in Knutsford town centre.

Currently operating out of two surgeries, there is ample space at the practice to expand to at least four units.

The practice was set up by Dr Steve Day in 2009, focusing on high-quality family dentistry and aesthetic treatments.

He recently decided to sell to reduce responsibilities and will remain at the practice as an associate.

Following a confidential sales process with Jonathan Watson at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Stephen McConalogue at Christie Finance, it has been sold to first-time buyer, Dr Marcin Piekara.

Watson said: “I have been working with Steve for some time identifying the perfect partner to take on his legacy.

“He has a stunning private practice in the centre of Knutsford and it was important to him to find the right buyer to take the practice to the next level.

“We have seen a fair shift in buyer appetite towards the private sector in recent years, and this is the latest example of private practices with growth potential being sold to first-time buyers.”

Stephen McConalogue, associate director at Christie Finance, adds: “It was a real team effort with Jonathan Watson from Christie & Co to collaborate together to get the deal over the line after several hurdles as we got to critical stages with the process of the purchase.

“Bank appetite within the dental sector remained positive throughout 2024, with a lot of independents buying their first practices as the availability of funding shifted and corporate buyers took a bit of a step back and we expect this trend to continue in 2025.”

The KClinic was sold for an undisclosed price.
