Yorkshire sale marks 49th care home in family group’s portfolio

  • 24th February 2025

Christie & Co has announced the sale of Asquith Hall Care Home in Todmorden, West Yorkshire.

The two-storey, purpose-built home was previously registered for 53 residents who require complex mental health nursing.

Boasting 53 single bedrooms, all of which have ensuite wetroom facilities, there is also ample day space across the home, with a large lounge and dining rooms on both floors and smaller quiet lounges/family rooms.

The home also offers a hydrotherapy pool, a hair/nail salon, and a fully-equipped sensory therapy room.

And, to the rear and side of the property, there are enclosed and manicured gardens with a large carpark to the front.

Following a confidential sales process with Sam Fazackerley at Christie & Co, the home has been sold to Affinity Care Consortium, part of the Younas Family Group which offers a wide array of care services, including residential dementia care, nursing care, mental health support, acquired brain injury care, assisted living, learning disability services, as well as children’s services across 49 settings.

Tanzeel Younas, director at Affinity Care Consortium, said: “This deal was probably the easiest and most fun I’ve done in recent times, and I’m excited for 2025 as we have a pipeline of another 15 homes to add to our portfolio.”

Asquith Hall Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
