Chief estates and facilities officer appointed at Oxford hospitals trust

Lisa Hofen has been appointed chief estates and facilities officer at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH).

An Oxford local, Hofen is an experienced estates and facilities professional who is currently director of infrastructure delivery at Coventry University.

She was previously director of estates at the same university and spent 20 years working for the University of Oxford in a variety of senior roles including head of strategic facilities management.

She will take on her new role at OUH on 27 October.

Simon Crowther, acting chief executive at OUH, saod: “Lisa’s knowledge and experience will strengthen the trust board and provide leadership for our teams working in estates and facilities across OUH, including PFI colleagues.

Hofen adds: “My career to date has been in estates and facilities management in the university sector, including a substantial tenure at the University of Oxford and, more recently, at Coventry University.

“I am deeply motivated by the opportunity to make a positive, meaningful difference, and I look forward to collaborating with new colleagues at OUH and supporting the outstanding work happening across the trust.”
